The Fabric of Life

‘To empower and inspire’

You’re here, thank you. Through my art I share my thoughts on the world, human experiences and my love of artistic expression as a means of creating change and presenting another way.

My textiles tell a story and my hands are a symbol.

Powerful and beautiful, our hands are an embodiment of the essence of life.

I’m blessed to have a wonderful studio to create, design and share my love of expression through creativity.

The studio is open to the public from Tuesday – Friday from 10.30 – 15.00 where you can visit to discuss a project, commission or simply have a little arty brainstorm.

I also make accessories and bags which are created in the same way as my art, original, one of a kind and always limited in number, sometimes to 1.

Feminine Energy

A powerful force. Blue, the colour of life giving energy. Nourishing and soothing this colour has a high frequency and energy to lift the spirit – the associating of being blue comes from ironically, the creative license of London born artist George Cruikshank who created the concept of blue devils that caused sadness and melancholy – this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Through a sequence of seemingly random events I was lead to a moment that revealed to me an aspect of myself that was yet unknown.  The true feminine energy that I possessed, sensual, graceful and free. The awakening of this elemental essence was a revelation.

It took time to be birthed, I had to grow and be ready to embrace being blue.

Writing, another way to express our selves. I encourage each and every one of us to keep a diary of our thoughts, random ideas and adventures. Sometimes it can be a single word that comes to mind that sums up a feeling – priceless, time, grateful. Sometimes it’s wild, curious and happy – what it always is, is revealing.
