Philosophy

Projects projects projects, I’m just that person. It’s keeps my mind firing and my eyes wide open. Also, after 20 or so years, you’ve tried many different things, and ultimately evolved and grown. Most people who are committed to creative expression will find themselves exploring various avenues, it makes sense – they’re just other mediums and methods for knowing and experiencing ourselves and the divine creative energy that lives within us. 

So with that, I too have tried many things but have refined my endeavours to a cohesive few and this is how it works.

You’re here so you get it. Ideas and reflections live here. I share processes and try things out. It’s mostly a blog and as I mentioned earlier somewhat of a scrap/sketch book/journal.

A place for people to come together, gather and inspire. Situated in a converted chapel in a cemetery, and in the Gallery within Harlequin Watford, Amanartis is a destination for the curious mind. Filled with expressions of art from classic oil paintings, fabric and contemporary sculptures and beautiful glass ware and ceramics. It’s a place where the public is invited in to come and experience and browse all things creative in an exclusive and unique way. Within the House of Amma - The Art of Living showroom. This is a space that I created as an example of how we can create spaces in our homes that help to create space within our selves to bring about clarity and peace. I love to experiment here so this room changes and evolves as ideas and desires come to life.

To Gather we Draw - this is a space I created at the Harlequin studio to draw attention to how understanding my connection to my ancestors and heritage helped me to make sense of aspects of my self that seemed unfamiliar and random. Delving into my families past brought light to connections and similarities that then became familiar and vindicating.
